101: Digital Photo Projects & Image Editing with Adobe Photoshop Elements
Digital photos can be shared in so very many ways. You can display them on Facebook, on iPhones and iTouches, in scrapbooks, in hard- and soft-back books, in photo albums, and in online galleries. You can even present them on digital frames that automatically rotate images and in computer-based or DVD-based digital slideshows. Digital photos can be transformed into fine art and put on gallery-wrapped canvas, or printed on fine art matte papers, or be printed and framed at an online print service to be shipped directly to you. The list of uses for digital photos grows each day as new products and services continue to be created.
This course begins with a through introduction to image size, file format, and basic image editing using Adobe Photoshop Elements. Once you have the image ready for use and in the correct format, and appropriately sized, you will learn dozens of ways to share your work.
This is a very hands-on seminar where you will get to see a couple dozen sample projects ranging from various types of prints, to books and back-lit frames. You will also learn how to use your images online at MySpace, Shutterfly, Flickr and several other of today’s most popular photo Websites. At the completion of this seminar you will be an expert on using digital photos and will have a comprehensive list of the best products and services to use to share your work the way you want.
This seminar does not include any content about taking photos or how to use a digital camera. Instead, it is all about doing cool things with the photos you’ve already taken. This is an excellent seminar to take in addition to Seminar 100, which is all about taking photos; and, one of the seminars on digital image using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop CS3, or Adobe Photoshop Elements.
