100 Beginning Photography: Light, Vision, Camera, Workflow and more

This is truly a course for those that are new to digital photography. In a methodical manner, you learn only the most important things you will need to know to take terrific photos. You learn to:

  • See photographically and pre-visualize your shots
  • Assess and take advantage of light
  • Evaluate photographs so you can continually improve photographically
  • Utilize thirty photographic elements that make a photo worth sharing
  • Optimize exposure by varying ISO, aperture, and shutter speed
  • Use essential camera features on your camera
  • Follow a successful workflow from insertion of digital media card to editing and sharing your photos

Photography is both art and science. While half of this class covers the necessary science for you to use light and your camera to capture photos, the other half gives you the art side that is so essential to capturing more than mere snap shots. Once you’ve taken this class you will have learned how to pre-visualize the shot you want—and then use the available light and your camera features to get that shot.
