Charlotte Nature Photography Workshop

Tony Sweet, Bill Fortney, Vinny Colucci, and Gregory Georges will be presenting a full-day workshop in Charlotte, NC on August 11th, 2007. The Nature Photography Seminar will cost $95 and all of the proceeds will go to help defray the medical expenses of Don Nelson—an outstanding friend of many, many photographers. Don has led the wonderful Nature Photography Weekend at Grandfather Mountain since its inception. American Dance Festival

Gregory Georges has been selected as the official Staff Photographer for the American Dance Festival for the coming season. Additionally, following the conclusion of next year’s season, which will be the 75th anniversary of ADF, he plans to publish a book on ADF. View a few photos taken at last year’s dances.

Sony & Popular Photography Digital Days Workshops

Sony and Popular Photography magazine are offering digital photography workshops across the country. Gregory Georges will be presenting on March 24th and March 25th in Raleigh. On the 24th, he will present Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. On the following day, he will be presenting an overview of the new Adobe Photoshop CS3. Significantly, this second presentation on CS3 will be two days before Adobe’s official launch, which occurs on Tuesday. As part of the Adobe Beta team, Gregory was given special permission to present CS3 prior to the announcement. Click to learn more about these workshops.

3rd Annual BetterPhoto Photography Conference

On September 29th and 30th, 2007 Gregory Georges will join other top photographers to present at the 3rd Annual BetterPhoto Photography Conference in Chicago, Illinois. Programs include: lighting, exposure, composition, camera raw and the histogram,  making money, nature and landscape photography, Photoshop, photographing children, workflow and printing, best digital cameras; and there will be a photography contest.
